In an effort to reduce turnover and create a pleasant
working environment in our restaurants, Coaxum
Enterprises has added the position of Crew Coach to its
staff.
As our Crew Coach, Rhonda Nabonne works to resolve
situations that can lead to terminations and
resignations. The primary goal of our Crew Coach is to
help managers avoid turnover which has a negative effect
on employee morale, working conditions and the company’s
bottom line.
Under our Crew Coach approach, we offer a system whereby
problems can be worked out between crew members and
their managers in a fair and equitable manner. This
approach offers crew members a chance to air their
concerns so that they can be addressed without fear of
retaliation.
Crew members can call or meet with our Crew Coach at the
restaurant or submit their concerns by email. Our Crew
Coach talks to employees on both sides to gather
information regarding the issue and recommends a
solution.
“We feel that reducing turnover will help to provide a
stable workforce that in turn will create loyalty and a
company culture of trust,” said Owner/Operator Henry
Coaxum.
At Coaxum Enterprises, Ms. Nabonne focuses on the areas
of hospitality and recruitment. She is a native New
Orleanian and a graduate of Loyola University with a
bachelor’s degree in journalism. She is a former news
reporter and editor at The Times-Picayune, where she was
part of a Pulitzer Prize winning team. |
